Interactive book

Japanese origami paper, tracing paper, candy wrapper, glossy photo paper, micron pens, bristol card

This project focuses on playing with the interaction between the viewer and the publication itself. A traditional book has a cover, back and pages in the middle; each page is the same size and you flip through it till you reach the end. The publication is designed in a manner that veers away from the traditions. 


This interactive book, The Things I love About Us is meant for couples, bestfriends, siblings- anyone with a close relationship that they’d like to not only store memories of but also create memories with. It is designed in a rough, scrapbook style to give viewers a feeling of warmth and open the avenue for adding on their personal touches to the book- just like a scrapbook. This includes photographs, quotes, poetry pieces, stickers, and so on. Another layer of interactivity included in the book is the Bucket List section where desired adventures can be set as goals which can be revisited later to check off. More similar features have been added for audience angagement.
